Prostitution & Trafficking of Women

Objective

The project aimed to build equal conditions and rights – socially, health wise, and economically. Moreover, the project aimed to create a debate on prostitution and create better understanding of the issues among the citizens and politicians as well.

Activities

The project, among other, held exhibitions, organized debates and developed online teaching materials. VIFIN contributed to the development of the teaching materials. The site (no longer online) includes facts, tasks, interviews and videos, expressing different points of view and attitudes. The target group is young people in secondary school.

Partnership

The project was implemented by the Women’s Museum in Aarhus in partnership with VIFIN and Intercultural Centre in Aarhus.

Funding

The project was funded by the Equal Rights Department under the Danish Social Ministry. It was carried out 2005-2007.
