The Mobile Vejle

Objective:

“The Mobile Vejle” is a network initiated by VIFIN on the basis of its experience with mobile technology and learning in their projects.

The network’s focus is to provide ideas on how Danish municipalities can use the potentials of mobile platforms to provide citizens on access information, guidance and learning whenever and wherever they need it.

Activities:

The network members collaborate across the various disciplines and institutions within the municipality to develop projects and seek ways of funding them. At least 60 institutions and companies participate in the network.

The network holds six meetings a year, where members form the network itself or external experts present current trends and developments on digital technology. The presentations focus on new initiatives, lessons learned and new perspectives on how mobile platforms can be used for learning or information.
