Welcome Package for Migrant Workers
Objective
This project aimed to help prepare migrant workers to work in other countries.
Activities
The project created a virtual “Welcome Package” that facilitate the foreign workers adoption and integration to the workplace and the local community. Countries represented in this partnership were Denmark, Norway and Scotland (the receiving countries) and Poland and Lithuania (dispatching countries)
The project developed a flexible and coherent training system with mentorship support consisting of: online language learning material on a basic level, information on social, cultural and legislative values in the receiving countries, and a site for the dispatching countries with information about language schools, work and other information, that is important to know, when going to the receiving country.
