Diversity Management
Objective
The aim of this project was to develop and test a training course on diversity management for employees in Vejle Municipality.
Content
The course promoted the principle that difference among employee groups is an advantage at the workplace. Diversity Management encouraged leaders to acknowledge that employees have different resources and competencies. The project drew inspiration from a project that was implemented by the Sønderborg Municipality for its employees.
The project also produced a publication.
Partnership
The project was implemented by VIFIN in cooperation with the Human Resources Department in Vejle Municipality and Sønderborg Municipality.
Funding
The project was funded by the EU Equal programme. It was carried out 2005-2006.
