Taste Different
Objective
The project aims to promote social inclusion by sharing the participating countries’ cultural heritage and providing participants with new skills through cooking: sharing recipes, sharing the tradition of using spices, etc.
Studies have shown that food is an effective way of promoting cultural understanding. By being introduced to, blend and recognise taste, one remembers his/her homeland while discovering and integrating in his/her new context.
Activities
Each partner will organise and manage groups of beneficiaries in activities that will:
- Share cultural heritage
- Share informal knowledge and discuss differences
- Experience mutual informal learning by group-work
- Provide basic skills training on working in groups, ICT, cooking
- Establish a Taste Different cooking blog
Aside from the blog site, the project will also produce a digital cook book and spice catalog..
